Once first aiders have completed an
initial Three Day First Aid at Work course,
they'll always have a good base knowledge of first aid. When their certificate is close to expiring, this two day course is a fast track through everything we covered the first time around. It's still packed with plenty of practical, so we can renew confidence across a range of scenarios, injuries, illnesses and conditions.

Community sponsorship opportunities

NB First Aid is keen to get their first aid knowledge out to as many people as possible - currently 95% of people lack the knowledge and confidence to react in an emergency.

Here are some other opportunities for you and your business:

Sponsor parent classes

At NB First Aid we love to work with the local community. There are many families out there who struggle in the current financial climate. There is a huge need for basic first aid knowledge to keep their children safe. Your company could sponsor an individual or sponsor a whole class. This would be for a 2 hour parent class, where they learn all the essential first aid.

Sponsor children's classes

We provide classes for children too! We run basic first aid classes for children in the local community, where they learn all the life saving skills to help friends and family in an emergency.

Recently we have started working alongside Scouting groups (squirrels, beavers, cubs and scouts), to provide first aid training for their groups.

You and your business could sponsor a child or sponsor a whole class.

Sponsor school classes

There are many schools throughout Leicestershire, we provide children's classes within schools, which comply with the national curriculum requirements. NB First Aid would love to get out to even more.

Staff Wellbeing

As a diligent business owner, we know that staff wellbeing is at the forefront of your mind. We are sure you are always looking for different ways and means to help your staff and look after their wellbeing.

So what exactly can we do to help?

Many of your staff could be parents, grandparents, aunties or uncles, who may not have basic first aid knowledge to keep their loved ones safe. This could be a huge worry or root of stress for your staff.

As part of your wellbeing package at work you could provide them with the piece of mind to know what to do in an emergency.

Through our sister company Daisy First Aid South Leicester, we can provide award winning 2 hour first aid classes for babies and children. Many people have benefitted for the confidence and piece of mind these classes provide.

We can offer one class or multiple classes depending upon what your business needs.

Nicole Barnard is the founder of NB First Aid and is committed to providing the best service possible. She is passionate about first aid and believes a little knowledge and confidence can go a long way.

Nicole is a keen sports person, spending many years as a sports coach, dance teacher and then a PE teacher in a local secondary school. following this, she transitioned to primary education, after 20 years in education she retrained a as first aid instructor. As the parent of 4 lively children and foster carer of 15 years, she is no stranger to using her first aid skills.

Now she runs NB First Aid - covering all areas of First Aid, Daisy First Aid South Leicester (specialising in paediatric first aid) and is a published children's author.
